SIDI CHAMPIONS PUT ON ANOTHER SHOW IN BULGARIA - MX2, Prado keeps winning. EMX250, Boisrame becomes European Champion. MXGP, Cairoli still struggling…

The motocross circus delivered another Sunday full of thrills at the Bulgarian GP. Sidi champions continue figuring as major players on all fronts. Once again it was the younger generation that was winning and entertaining; the Sidi team’s green line keeps evolving…

In the MX2 class Jorge Prado (Ktm) isn’t missing a beat; on the Sevlievo racetrack he scored second place in race1 and victory in race2 to clinch success in the Grand Prix. This is the 10th bulls-eye of the season for the young Spanish ace, and his fifth consecutive win. Prado hangs on to the red plate as the leader of the World Series, and he’s getting closer and closer to the title. Now Jorge Prado is firmly in command with 739 points, with Pauls Jonass hot on his heels at 709.

However, this week-end the best and most important victory came in the EMX250 class, where the young French rider Mathys Boisrame (Honda) was second in race1 and first in race2. This won him the grand prix, but more importantly it earned him the European title in this category, with one race left to go until the end of the championship.

In the reigning MXGP class, a hearty round of applause definitely must go to Tony Cairoli (Ktm), who is always the Sidi team’s number one guy. Although the Sicilian rider is still suffering from an injured knee sustained a week ago in the Swiss race, he still wanted to participate and give battle in Bulgaria. Eighth in race1 and second in race2, Cairoli closed out the grand prix in fourth place. Once again the winner was Jeffrey Herlings, who thus further extended his lead in the World Championships and is 73 points ahead of Cairoli.

All the champions on the Sidi team win and celebrate, but also suffer and struggle with Sidi Crossfire 3 Srs boots, the boots of champions that are unbeatable on any terrain and in even the most difficult situations. The 9-time World Champion Tony Cairoli knows the score…and we are sure that from now to the end of the World Series, whatever the outcome, there is sure to be plenty of excitement to come…
