JORGE PRADO VISITS SIDI. ALL SET FOR THE TRENTINO GP! - The young Spanish pilot starring in the MX2 World Series uses Sidi Crossfire 3 boots.

This weekend the Motocross World Series will touch down in Italy for the fourth round on the Pietramurata racetrack in Trentino. This trip to Northern Italy provided the perfect chance for Jorge Prado to visit Sidi General Headquarters in Maser (Treviso).

At the tender age of 17, Prado has joined Sidi’s circle of young champions. The fledgling Spanish rider possesses pure talent and keen focus. Starting this year he will be part of the De Carli Racing Team, which will give him the chance to work closely with Tony Cairoli, Sidi’s number one man and a legendary rider on the motocross scene.

As early as 2017, Prado showed great promise in the MX2 class when he managed to win three Grand Prix races, including the round held at Pietramurata in Trentino, which will be held again this weekend. He ended up in 7th place in the final rankings of the 2017 MX2 World Series. In 2018 Prado is sure to grow even more. The season got off to quite a good start for him, with two excellent second places; first in Valkenswaard and then in Spain. He is currently in third place in the World Series overall standings, behind Jonass and Olsen, who are first and second, respectively.

Jorge Prado was also very excited about his first visit to Sidi; by entering this company he has set foot in a place that could be considered as a temple that houses the history of motorcycling and cycling. In fact, the feet of the greatest names in these two sports have passed through here. Prado made the most of the occasion to work out some details on his Crossfire 3 SRS boots, which he is using in his race for the 2018 World Series. But perhaps the best and most important part of his visit was when the young rider got to meet Dino Signori and shake his hand. Dino Signori gave Prado a copy of his book, Dalla Testa ai Piedi – (From Head to Toe), in which the young Spanish rider can learn all about the history of Sidi, the keen intuition and fantastic successes that have made the company what it is today.
Dino Signori and Jorge Prado are from two very different eras, realities and generations, but they do have some things in common: the will to succeed, a drive to win, a desire to pursue a passion and the commitment and determination to become the best. This is Sidi’s secret, this is the reason Sidi always supports the champions of yesterday, today and tomorrow.
