SIDI ALSO A MAJOR PLAYER IN TRIATHLON - Alessandro Fabian wins the Italian Championships in triathlon sprint.

Sidi has garnered another important victory, this time in a triathlon. It’s all thanks to Alessandro Fabian, who captured the title of Italian Champion in the triathlon sprint at Lignano Sabbiadoro (Udine). The race featured a 750 metre swim, a 20 k bike ride and a 5 k run. The central cycling fraction is fundamental to the overall economy of a triathlon race. Of course, for the cycling part Alessandro Fabian can count on all of Sidi’s support. In fact, he uses Sidi T-4 Air Carbon Composite shoes, the top model triathlon shoes from the Sidi collection. They’re easy to get on and off, which is essential in a triathlon event; they are also light, technical and performing. This shoe was developed in consideration of the demands and feedback from the best specialists in the world who participate in this spectacular and challenging sport, including Fabian.

Recapping the race in Lignano, it should be noted that Alessandro Fabian fought like a lion. The athlete from Padua belongs to the Carabinieri Sports Group and after good performances lately in races on the international level Super League circuit, it meant a lot to him to also do well in this race for the Italian title. He attacked hard from the first swimming fraction; in the cycling section he was a bit unlucky and suffered a fall after a few hundred metres, but he immediately got back up again. It was right at that moment that something clicked in the champion’s head; this setback triggered an overwhelming desire to win and to give it everything he had to overcome some bad luck. It was thus that with great determination Fabian caught up to the lead group; then, in the final 5 km footrace, he forged ahead to claim victory. It was a well-deserved victory, hard-fought and pursued all the way.

But it’s not over yet. In fact, Alessandro Fabian will be lining up for the Italian Championships in Olympic distance (1500 metre swim, 40 km bike ride, 10 km run) on Saturday, October 7th, in Lerici (La Spezia, in Liguria), where he will be eager to give it his best, as always.
