INTERNAZIONALI D’ITALIA MX: CAIROLI WINS IN MANTOVA, TOO - Now Tony Cairoli and Sidi are looking forward to the start of the MXGP World Series. It all starts in Argentina on March 4.

As predicted, Tony Cairoli was the strongest contender as well in Mantova, for the third and last round of the Internazionali d’Italia MX series.  After two victories at Riola Sardo and Noto, world motocross’ number one put all his rivals in place in the Mantova race, too, for the final act of the 2018 series.

Tony Cairoli won the MX1 match as well as the more important Superchampion round, which lined up the best MX1 and MX2 riders for the headline event. These important wins earned him the Internazionali d’Italia MX title in both categories. This is Cairoli’s 10th career title in this competition. After this feat, now everyone is watching the 9-time World Champion to see if 2018 will bring him his 10th World title.

After the race, Tony Cairoli affirmed that his goal was to begin 2018 by figuring well in Internazionali d’Italia MX in order to be ready when he makes it to the inaugural World Series race in Argentina on March 4. The Italian Internationals confirmed that he is in top form and that his motorcycle is running like a charm.

Sidi was also extremely happy with this victory. The company from Maser (Treviso) is one of Tony Cairoli’s oldest partners and also the Sponsor for the Internazionali d’Italia MX. Tony Cairoli took advantage of his “pre-World Series” transfer to Northern Italy to drop in for a visit at Sidi general headquarters. It was a chance to say hi to all his friends on the Sidi staff and especially to put the finishing touches on his new Sidi Crossfire 3 Srs boots, which he will be wearing for the first time in the Patagonia GP in Argentina and throughout the 2018 season as he vies for his 10th World Title.
