THE TUSCAN WEEK END BELONGS TO SIDI - Michal Kwiatkowski wins the Strade Bianche and Adam Yates takes the Larciano GP.

Cycling’s greatest riders met on the roads of Tuscany over the weekend. There were two races on the schedule and Sidi champions captured both events. On Saturday, March 4th, Michal Kwiatkowski (Team Sky) won the Strade Bianche, a hard, spectacular race which has become a part of cycling legend with its 11 sections of dirt roads to cover on a series of ups and downs on the hills around Sienna. This is a high quality first victory of the season for Kwiatkowski. The Pole crossed the finish line with arms in the air in Piazza del Campo, the famous square that hosts the Palio di Siena. So now he has won this Tuscan classic for the second time in his career (the first was in 2014).

On Sunday, March 5th, Sidi was on top once again. This time it was with Adam Yates (Orica-Scott). In 2016 the British rider was introduced as one of the up-and-coming bright stars on the world cycling scene, taking fourth place at the Tour de France and capturing the white jersey for best young rider. Now he has won the GP Larciano

And now Paris-Nice & Tirreno-Adriatico...
The season continues and things are starting to heat up; now we are heading towards the Sanremo and the great Northern Classics. The Paris-Nice started on Sunday and Sidi won the first stage with Frenchman Arnaud Demare (FDJ), who is on his third victory for the season. Also, the Tirreno-Adraitico begins this week (March 8-14), with plenty of stars from the Sidi squadron lining up, including Vincenzo Nibali and his Bahrain-Merida as well as Fabio Aru with Astana Pro Team, which we needn’t remind you are both formations entirely sponsored by Sidi. All these champions are relying on the Shot, the new model offered by the 2017 Sidi road racing collection, a shoe featuring innovative design and technology; a shoe destined for victory.
