2017 MX ITALIAN INTERNATIONALS: TONY CAIROLI’S FIRST STRIKE! - At Riola Sardo the Sidi super champ dominated #round1

Sidi could not have got off to a better start in the major motocross season. In the first round of the 2017 MX Italian International series held on the sandy track at Riola Sardo (OR), Tony Cairoli (Ktm) literally dominated the scene.

The Italian Internationals have traditionally become a launch pad towards the MX World Series, which will kick off in just under a month with the inaugural race in Losail, Qatar. Besides this result, what really counts right now is the excellent form and determination Cairoli has demonstrated, sending out an important signal to all his closest adversaries in the race towards the World Series.

There were plenty of stars lined up at the starting grid, but Tony Cairoli knew no rivals. He put everyone in line, both in the MX1 race as well as in the reigning Elite category, which features the top 20 MX1 and MX2 riders vying for the prize. Sidi was also tremendously satisfied as we supported our champion with the Crossfire 3Srs boots, the new models in Sidi’s 2017 off-road collection. The MX Italian International Series has become an important event for Sidi, which is also one of the sponsors of this challenge.

Riola Sardo, in Sardinia, was the first of three stages in the MX Italian International Series. The next races will be held in Malagrotta (RM) on February 5th, and in Ottobiano (PV) on February 12th
