SUPERENDURO: GREAT SUCCESS AT THE FIRST WORLD INDOOR RACE - In Krakow Sidi goes straight to the podium with Colton Haaker and Husqvarna.

The Indoor SuperEnduro season has officially started in Krakow Poland, with the first race of the 2016/2017 World Series hitting the scene against the magical backdrop of a packed Tauron Arena. There was a record crowd there to watch this event, which brings great off-road motorcycling to the heart of the city. More than 13,000 spectators showed up to experience the extraordinary thrills live and in person. In Krakow, hometown idol Tadeusz Blazusiak, one of this sport’s greatest, competed in his last race and, as only greats are wont to do, he won, leaving the rest of the field behind as the crowd celebrated and gave him a fond send-off. Therefore, Taddy Blazusiak will not take part in the ultimate battle for the World Title.

It was tremendous satisfaction for Sidi In addition to being the official sponsor for the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship, the company also savoured the immediate joy of making it to the podium with Colton Haaker, who was second in Krakow. Sidi is in fact the official sponsor for  team Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing , which features American  Colton Haaker, who is the current SuperEnduro World Champion and fresh off his win of the 2016 AMA EnduroCross title.  Of course, Colton is one of the team’s Top Riders. From the get-go Haaker showed that he will be the man to beat this year as well. His team mate, Pascal Rauchenecker also put in a good performance, wrapping up his first participation in the SuperEnduro World Series with an eighth place finish.

In Krakow Sidi also enjoyed the excellent fourth place by Johnny Walker. The Englishman from Ktm will surely be another one to watch as he vies for final victory and the World Title. All Sidi pilots in the SuperEnduro World Series wear Crossfire 3 Srs boots, the newest addition to the Sidi 2017 off-road collection.

The SuperEnduo World Series is saying goodbye to 2016 as we look forward to 2017 and the second race to be held at the Sachsen Arena in Riesa, Germany, on January 7th.
