MOTO 2: ALEX RINS STRIKES AGAIN! - The Spaniard wins the French GP and leads the World Championship standings.

Alex Rins (Pagina Amarillas HP 40) has confirmed that he is one of the big stars, if not actually the man to beat in the 2016 Moto2 World series. On the Le Mans circuit in the French GP the Spanish rider from Team Pons gave a strong, commanding performance to clinch victory in the competition and take the lead in the World Series in one fowl swoop. Places of honour went to Italian Simone Corsi, who came in second, and Switzerland’s Thomas Luthi, who was third.

For Alex Rins, who has already won in America and come in third in Spain, this is his second season bull’s eye, the fourth in his Moto2 career. Now Rins is in command of the World Championship classification with 87 points; Britain’s Lowes is five lengths back with 82, and Switzerland’s Luthi is third with 69. Alex Rins zoomed around the track and shined on the podium in his Sidi Vortice boots, which once again are the top models in the Sidi Sport line for speed and track.

Don’t miss the next round, the Italian GP on the Mugello circuit on May 22.
